Dr. Musnick offers the following treatments at the Eagle Clinic:

Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM)

Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) is a rare treatment using micro-amperage current and the resonance effects of frequencies on tissues and conditions. The microcurrent stimulates cells and mitochondria in the body to create beneficial changes and promote healing and restoration.

Scar Neural Therapy Injection

Scars can cause problems in a person’s body such as pain in the scar, tightness, weakness in a muscle or set of muscles, among other complications. Advantages of Scar Neural Therapy Injection include noticing results within the first 48 hours and long-term benefits include noticing stronger muscles, structures hurting less, joints moving better, and organs or glands functioning better. A gold standard to treating scars is through scar injection with local anesthetic (Lidocaine).

Prolotherapy Regenerative Injections

Prolotherapy, also called Regenerative Injection Therapy, is the injection to specific ligaments to help the body build more, stronger ligaments and stabilize joints. The injections work by releasing growth factors and creating an inflammatory reaction on the ligaments, stimulating them to go through a process in which they develop more cells, called fibroblasts, and more tissue, called collagen, to increase the size and strength of the ligaments. When joints are more stable, this will help decrease joint degeneration, improve muscle function and help tissue to heal.

Low Level Laser Therapy

Cold Laser Therapy, also called Low Level Laser Therapy, has become a very popular treatment with athletes because it has been found to be useful in speeding the healing process with injuries. This therapy is performed using the FDA-cleared device: MR4 by TerraQuant, a machine that delivers a super pulsed laser that can vary the depth and is considered by some to be the world’s most advanced pain relieving modality.

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field

Functional Medicine of Idaho is proud to be one of the only clinics in Idaho with a high-intensity PEMF-120 device. This modality can reduce pain, increase energy, speed up healing of injuries and fractures, accelerate recovery from exercise, and increase circulation. The device delivers a therapeutic effect in as little as 5-10 minutes, making treatment times short and extremely convenient.

Audio Visual Entrainment

Audio Visual Entrainment (AVE) helps patients become more relaxed, concentrate, and sleep better. AVE may be an alternative approach to typical medications that are used to treat ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
