Jennifer is leaving FIMI in late November 2017. These are her parting words:
“I have decided to dive whole-heatedly into following my burning desire of starting an exciting new chapter of my life. I’ve given my job notice, stored my possessions and am leaving to go back to Asia to pursue getting my TEFL certification, will then travel to teach in a small rural farming and fishing community in the Philippines, by the ocean. While there, I have hopes of assisting with a program that works with rehabilitating victims of sex trafficking.
Working with women and children has been at the forefront of my heart and mind since experiencing my own healing transformation. Also during my journey, I wish to incorporate my love of yoga, Reiki healing, photography and writing. I will keep you present of my whereabouts, experiences, challenges, humerous moments… through my postings and soon to come blog.”
Other Integrative Practitioners and Helpers
Robert has officially retired from his career teaching Feldenkrais and life coaching/counseling for individuals. We will miss his classes and seeing him frequently at the office. Hopefully he will drop in with his guitar occasionally to serenade us.
MacPhe who prefers to go by Mac, is one of the greeters at our clinic. He was rescued from the Meridian Shelter at the age of four and now is seven years old. The shelter said he is a Cairn Terrier, though he might have a little of something else too. In his off time he likes to go for walks with his best buddy Jean and chase squirrels in his back yard.
